Honeymoon - Krabi, Thailand - June 25-27, 2000

We stayed on an island at the Sand Sea Resort. You can only get there by river boat, but this is over open water.
We rented a speedboat the next day and went snorkeling about Phi Phi Island. The boat came with two mates.
After walking over sandbars between islands, snorkeling with the fish, perfecting the "Ian stroke" (which looks like John Travolta dancing with Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction in an attempt to keep my  rings from falling off), and getting nibbled on by a particularly aggressive fishy, we started back. Only problem was this is the rainy season and we got really soaked.
Same deal when we were leaving our bungalo-infested island by riverboat. We got so wet, it was funny.

We stayed next at the Krabi Resort on the mainland. As soon as we made it to our room, two waitresses delivered our honeymoon cake compliments of Apple.
The tide comes in in the late afternoon, so we lounged and watched it pound the seawall, sending geysers higher and higher into the air. Shopping consisted of a few Thai silk ties for all those times I dress up (not!).
